The Battle Of The Bastards, the sci-fi epic by the creators of HBO’s Game Of Thrones, is one of the most critically acclaimed and critically beloved films of all time.
With the story set in the years just after the Battle Of Culloden, a civil war that swept across Westeros in the early 7th century, the film has been compared to The Dark Knight Rises.
In fact, many of the actors who play the characters in the film are also part of the iconic Knight Riders, the famous fighting force of George RR Martin’s A Song Of Ice And Fire series.
It’s a testament to the film’s incredible talent that so many fans have taken to social media to praise the film and its director, Bryan Fuller, for its ability to capture the emotional impact of the war.
With that, the director has also shared that fans should expect a new installment of the film in 2017.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fuller discussed the upcoming sequel, saying, “We’re going to see a little bit of the Battle of Agincourt that takes place in the year 2017.
There’s going to be a lot of stuff coming out, including a new epic.
It has a lot to do with a lot more stuff coming in the future.
We’re really excited about the possibility of it, and it’s something we’re definitely working on.”
Fuller continued, “I can’t tell you much more than that, but I can say that we’re going into the year with a really exciting slate of projects that we have in mind.”
